The latest revision of CEL (China Energy Label) product catalogue took effect on June 1, 2018. According to the official announcement in the end of last year, the following two product categories were newly added into the catalogue and subject to compulsory CEL requirements.
- household and similar purposes A.C. electric ventilating fans
- Commercial refrigerated cabinets with self-contained condensing unit
The announcement also notifies the release of revised implementation rules for other two product categories.
- automatic electric rice cookers (added in catalogue on 2010.3.1)
- household and similar microwave ovens (added in catalogue on 2011.3.1)
